TOKYO
CROW
fuA fiction was written and illustrated for the architectural occupation of a vacant lot within Tokyo’s Shinjuku ward; the gravitational centre of the city’s crow and queer activity.
Using the crow’s four tactics for queer survival -- gleaning, flocking, (re)producing, and mobilizing -- a series of temporary installations were conceived using reappropriated crow traps, and objects commonly found on the streets of Tokyo.
The book can be read as a splitscreen in which simultaneous and analgous activite can be read between crow (left page) and human (right page).
